Check in to check out

When we consciously choose to check in to our physical, emotional and energetic bodies, we find a centring. When we intentionally move the body, we make space around our thoughts. When we unplug from our distractions, digital or living breathing things, we find ourselves. When we connect to our breath, we remind ourselves of the power of this simple yet vital function, the impact on our nervous system is profound, and the ability to shift our headspace.

There’s a lot of ways you can check in.

A mindful movement practice that becomes meditative, a flow, a swim, a walk or run.

A simple scan through of the body for areas that need a little more love.

A slowing down of the thoughts.

A huge dose of compassion for what you find.

So whether you’re flying or driving away this summer, or staying local, check in so you can check out, even for 15 minutes, gives you a little ‘brain holiday’ whenever you need it.
