Try Hard Season

I’m not afraid of looking like a try-hard. I am a try hard. I love what I do daily and I hope it shows for the people I work with, for, and alongside.

I’m a planner, a bit of a worrier (anxty girlies untie) and I’m ALWAYS early. I love a to-do list, leaning into my Vatta-type dosha (more on this Ayurvedic concept soon).

I’m a nerd about the things I love: swimming, running, yoga, books, podcasts, coffee (adaptogenic now please), and meeting others and hearing their loves and likes fascinates me too.

I don’t think it’s ‘cringe’ or ‘icky’ to be seen trying. The women I most admire, follow, listen to and read books by are - to their core - try hards. I respect the hustle, I respect the commitment even amongst life’s other busyness.

So I made a list of try-hards to explore:

Grace Beverley - Working Hard Podcast

How to Fail with Elizabeth Day

Rise with Roxie - by Roxie Nafousi

Anything written by Adrienne Adhami

I have a tattoo in my own handwriting on the inside upper of my left arm, it says ‘we all try’, because I believe that in our own ways, we all really do, and I’m not afraid of showing it.
