Lazy hazy days
Are few and far between! But a recent camping trip reminded me of the beauty of slowing down, breathing in the sea air and immersing yourself in a slower pace, even for a brief few days. While my Summer is packed full of work, I’m consciously finding new ways to decompress, carve out windows of opportunity to enjoy being present in what I’m doing and who I’m with.
These longer daylight hours seem to make me solar-powered, and seeing the sun first thing makes all the difference in how I feel for the rest of my day. Nourishing my mind with my favourite podcasts, getting lost in fascinating articles and mystical ACOTAR has given me a ‘brain break’ amongst a busy diary.
While working on building my client base has had my energy and focus, I’m also excited to throw myself in fully to my Windsor Half Marathon training. It’s right around the corner and I can’t wait to challenge myself with this distance for the 6th time. Out of my head, into my body. Celebrating what it can do, the steps (pun intended) to get to the start and finish line. Runna, I’m coming for you.
Also my birthday month, I’ve used The Productivity Method to plan, goal set, and map out how I want this next year of LIFE to feel, not just look. My strongest, healthiest, happiest year yet.
